Day 1: United States - San Jose
Arrive by air into San Jose. Upon arrival a representative from our ground operator will meet you at the gate and will provide you with a welcome kit on Costa Rica.Transfer to the hotel of choice for your first night in Costa Rica.Evening free to relax and enjoy San Jose`s active nightlife.Accommodation in San Jose
Day 2: San Jose - Tortuguero Breakfast at the hotelAfter breakfast, early morning departure for Tortuguero. Enjoy a scenic drive through the Braulio Carillo National Park and then a three-hour boat trip to the canals of Tortuguero.Upon arrival to the lodge enjoy a welcome cocktail and lunch.The lodge will then schedule a visit to the Turtle Museum and town of Tortuguero.Afternoon free to relax in the pool or take advantage of the hiking trails.In the evening, after a delicious meal, you will relax along the canal's edge with a cocktail and enjoy the night sounds of the jungle.Accommodation in Tortuguero (B,L,D)
Day 3: Tortuguero Breakfast at the hotelDuring the day enjoy scheduled boat tours to the small canals for wildlife observation. A jungle adventure of a lifetime! Day 5: Arenal - Monteverde Breakfast at the hotelAfternoon pickup at the hotel for the scenic drive to Monteverde. The Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve is one of the most diverse and richest tropical cloud forests in the New World and home to the resplendent Quetzal and the rare bell bird. Day 6: Monteverde All meals are on your own.In the morning you will hike through the well marked trails of the Monteverde Cloudforest Reserve.Enjoy an afternoon adventure at the Sky Trek. This is a system of three platforms suspended above the ground in the midst of tree boughs. Ziplines attached from one platform to another will allow you to slide with the use of special equipment.
